We've started a wedding blog to share even more places to elope and hold destination weddings.  New additions to the blog include:

Opryland Weddings

If you and your fiance' are country music fans, what better place to elope or have a wedding than Nashville, TN? And, what better place in Nashville than Opryland, where you can be surrounded by country music. Gaylord Opryland Hotel has some very special areas within the hotel for your wedding and includes 9 acres of indoor gardens and waterfalls, perfect for those wedding photos.

Laughlin, NV Wedding

Okay, so you want a Vegas wedding, but without the crowds and hassle of Las Vegas. What are you to do? Go to Laughlin, of course.

With Laughlin you have the casinos and some of the glitz of Vegas, but with the Colorado River right outside your casino, where you can get married on the U.S.S. Riverside, a luxury tour boat from Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino. You can charter the entire boat for a large wedding, or have an elopement ceremony for just the two of you, or with a few friends and relatives.

Durango, CO Wedding

For a unique Colorado wedding, consider chartering one of the traincars of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, which is a 90-mile roundtrip train ride from Durango to Silverton, an old mining town. The traincars or caboose can accommodate 2 to 24 guests, perfect for an elopement ceremony or small destination wedding.

Juneau, Alaska Glacier Wedding

Yes, there are some cruise ships with wedding chapels where you can have your wedding.  But, why not opt for something a little more exotic?  How about a wedding on top of a glacier?

The Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau seems to be the spot for Glacier Weddings, and I've found a couple ideas you might like.  Read more

Star Trek Weddings - Las Vegas

Las Vegas is almost as famous for weddings as it is for gambling. In fact there are wedding chapels on almost every corner and in almost every major casino on the strip and beyond. There are themed weddings, Elvis weddings, elegant weddings, simple weddings, alien weddings, and all kinds of weddings in between. There are even Star Trek weddings. Inside the Las Vegas Hilton, you can get married on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, and have Klingons and Ferengi as witnesses.   Read more
