Pennsylvania Wedding Sites

Pennsylvania has much to offer the couple searching for a great wedding destination. From the Poconos, known as a honeymoon and wedding capital, to Philadelphia and the surrounding countryside dotted with quaint B&Bs, farms and wineries, the hard part will be narrowing down your wedding venue search.

The Poconos

The Poconos is often referred to as the "Romance Capital of the World," popular as a destination for couples getting married or on their honeymoon. Encompassing over 2,400 square miles the Pocono Mountains are blessed with rolling mountain terrain, awesome waterfalls, and over 150 miles of winding rivers. They're also a perfect wedding destination for any season. In the winter you can have a snowy wedding; in the spring and summer you can add golf, whitewater rafting and hiking to your honeymoon itinerary.

Caesars Pocono Resorts

Caesars Pocono Resorts include several different venues: Pocono Palace, Cove Haven, Paradise Stream and Brookdale-on-the-Lake. They have a very affordable wedding package, called the "Champagne Wedding." As of May, 2009, the package started at $595 (check for current rates) and includes:
  • Intimate indoor or outdoor ceremony for two performed by a local officiant
  • Sparkling or spirit-free champagne
  • Champagne glasses for the bride and groom
  • Wedding photo album 8 (5"x7") mounted color photographs
  • Wedding cake
All wedding packages must include a 2-night honeymoon stay. We suggest you consider the Roman Tower suite at Pocono Palace, which is designed with a Grand roman theme. Of course, what's grand to some is gaudy to others, but the Roman Tower suite comes with floor-to-ceiling columns, vaulted ceilings, and a 7-foot tall Champagne Glass Whirlpool Bath built for two.

You can also go for the Champagne Tower by Cleopatra suites at Cove haven Paradise Stream and Pocono Palace, which is designed in an Egyptian theme, but with the 7-foot Glass Whirlpool Bath. There are also heart-shaped whirlpool baths in other suites which sit on the floor.
